January 29, 2011


On the way home from my parents' house this afternoon, we found what we have affectionately dubbed "Beaver City." I tramped through a muddy field, but still couldn't get close enough to get a cool shot. And we couldn't get far enough away to get a good wide shot, either. But it was a really amazing find--at least one dam, at least one lodge, beaver footprints in the snow, and several freshly felled trees (including the one in this photo).
