Annual Theology Dinner at Xavier University tonight. So good to see some of my favorite people. This is the beautiful Julie going for her camera--she also took pictures there tonight. I like the Bruce Springsteen slide in the background (our presentation for tonight was about Bruce as poet/prophet--who says theologians don't know how to party?).

This guy hangs beside my elliptical, giving me daily encouragement to keep working out. He also is quite the confidant, I've found. Perhaps he should be charging me for therapy. And when I finish my workout, he encourages me with a dry five. Thanks, Menty!

Broke out a new journal for texts, tweets and notes last week, and Sunday was the first sermon in the book. Pastor John had us draw our favorite meal during the sermon. Mine was mac and cheese...too bad Jesus didn't have that option for Communion, eh?
